A number of complementary therapies are available that may help reduce your risk of having another heart attack. It is important to remember, however, that none of these medications should ever be used instead of your prescribed medication.
Remember: it is important that you keep taking the medication prescribed for you as directed by your physician.
Most of the complementary therapies available aim at relieving stress, which can have effects on your blood pressure, and on improving your mood (maintaining a positive state of mind is a important factor in your recovery).
